Malbork by Wojciech D.

Hi everyone, I’ve just come back from a trip to Malbork and I would like to share the experience and my opinion about this place.

Malbork is a town in northern Poland about 70km from coast of Baltic Sea. It isn’t very big, only a 17km2 and has a population over 38 thousand.

What I like the best about the place was the medieral Castle built the 13th century by the Knights of the Teutanic Order. It’s absolutely amazing.

When I was there a Castle Triathlon Malbork took place. The competition includes 3 disciplines: swimming, cycling and a run.

I was one of the competitors. I swam at the distance 0,5km cycled on 2okm and ran 6km.

After the event there was a concert and a bonfire for all the participants and we ate delicious grilled sausage.

Malbork is worth visiting who are keen on history as well as sport. If you ever have a chance to go there don’t miss it.
